CM Naveen Approves 3 More Fire Stations To Come Up In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday  approved the establishment of three new Fire Stations in the capital city.

In view of the rising population in the city, the Chief Minister has taken this decision to improve the fire fighting system and provide security to the people, stated the CM’s office in a press note.

According to a CMO release, these fire stations will  set up at Tamando, Mancheswar and Pahala. Forty-five posts have also been approved for manning the new fire stations. Each center will have 15 staff, comprising one station officer, two leading firemen, one driver-authority, one fireman driver and 10 firemen.

The posts include 10 Firemen, a Station Officer, two Leading Firemen, one Driver-Havildar and one Fireman Driver.
