Full House Dad No More

Florida, Jan 10: The famous ‘Full House’ dad Bob Saget has died at the age of 65, said law enforcement officials on Monday.

According to BBC report, the actor was found unresponsive by staff in his room at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Orlando, Florida on Sunday.

However, the exact reason for his details remains unclear.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department tweeted: “Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The man was identified as Robert Saget and pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.”

Saget, who is also a stand-up comedian, had recently started a new comedy tour across the US. Day before his death, he had performed in Jacksonville, Florida.

After the show, he had tweeted expressing his joy at being back on stage, telling fans that he was “happily addicted” to his craft, BBC reported.

“Loved tonight’s show @PV_ConcertHall in Jacksonville. Appreciative audience. Thanks again to @RealTimWilkins for opening. I had no idea I did a 2 hr set tonight. I’m happily addicted again to this shit. Check http:obSaget.com for my dates in 2022,” Saget said.

He had received lauds for his portrayal of Danny Tanner, a widowed father of three daughters, in sitcom ‘Full House’ since 1987 to 1995.

He also featured in Netflix Original ‘Fuller House’, revival of the previous series, in 2016.

John Stamos, who was the brother-in-law of Danny in ‘Full House’, tweeted: “I am broken. I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock. I will never ever have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby.”

“Saget would have wanted something tweeted that was really funny and in very bad taste. I can’t do that. I’m just so sad. Bob was just great on every level and we will all miss him,” actor and writer Penn Jillette wrote.
