Erica Fernandes, Sristy Rode, Sharad Malhotra, Anitha Raaj Test Positive For Covid-19

Mumbai, Jan 5: Erica Fernandes of ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’ fame and her mother tested Covid-19 positive, the actor announced on Wednesday.

Taking to her social media handle, the ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ actor posted, “When covid first hit us, I was more than paranoid about it but also knew that most of us are going to contract it sooner or later. Unfortunately, as of now, me along with my mom have tested positive.”

The actor requested not to believe in home tests (covidself kit), as she did not get accurate results on them.

Erica shared her experience of using the covidself kit thrice and tested negative all three times.

“Mom n we have been facing congestion, cough, cold, severe body aches and fluctuating fever with occasional shivers,” she added.

The actor has requested all the people who have come in contact with her last week to examine themselves and seek medical advice, in case they faced any symptoms.

Many of her Industry friends and actors, including Hina Khan, Surbhi, Parth Samthaan, Arjun Bijlani and Suyyash Rai have dropped get well soon wishes for the actor and her mom.

Meanwhile, ‘Bigg Boss 12’ fame Srishty Rode, Sharad Malhotra, Anitha Raaj also tested positive for coronavirus. Sharad has tested positive for COVID-19, the makers of Star Plus show Vidrohi revealed on Wednesday. He is currently under home quarantine and is receiving medical attention. also tests positive for COVID-19.

Reports reveal that Sristy had written on her social media about the same after which she deleted the post.

“I have been tested positive! Have home quarantined myself with mild symptoms. I request everyone who came in touch with me in the last few days to please get yourself tested.”
