Los Angeles, Jan 29: Coldplay has rescheduled its US tour for ‘Music of the Spheres’ citing “logistical issues”. Taking to Instagram, the band said: “We’re very sorry to announce that due to logistical issues, we’ve had to reshuffle the opening dates of our upcoming US tour. The US shows will now begin in Dallas at the Cotton Bowl Stadium on May 6.”
As per the new schedule, the concert at the State Farm Stadium in Phoenix would now be held May 12, and the show at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara would be on May 15. However, two shows that were to be held at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles have been postponed. “Our two shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles have been postponed; we will announce new dates as soon as possible,” Coldplay said.
While apologising to their fans the change in dates of US tour, Coldplay said, “No other dates are affected – the Music Of The Spheres World Tour will still start in Costa Rica on March 18 as planned.” Chris Martin and his bandmates had released their album ‘Music of the Spheres’ last year in October
