Alia’s Garba Track ‘Dholida’ Released
Mumbai, Feb 10: Actor Alia Bhatt and Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Thursday released their Garba track ‘Dholida’ of their upcoming movie ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. Saregama Music dropped the official video on YouTube and wrote, “Dholida, the first song from the album ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ is out now. Composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, sung by Janhvi Shrimankar and Shail Hada and penned by Kumaar, this track gets high on energy as Alia Bhatt rules the floor with Gangubai Swag! Get ready to dance on the tunes of ‘Dholida’ as Alia Bhatt takes the Gangubai avatar.”
Alia shared the music video on her social media and along with caption, “An absolute dream come true to dance on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s music. My heart forever beats to Dholida” along with a fire emoji. Bhansali Productions tweeted: “Chaya re dhol pe nasha! Dholida” along with fire emoji In the movie’s celebratory garba number, Alia as Gangubai can be seen dancing to the tunes of dhol.
The number has been sung by Jahnvi Shrimankar and Shail Hada, and choreographed by Kruti Mahesh. Fans are loving Gangubai’s new swag. One of the users said, “OMG Alia’s dance and song, Alia’s dance expression her moves OMG” along with smiley emojis. Another wrote, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali never disappointed us in Gujrati culture, epic one after ‘Ram Leela’. ” ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ has been produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Jayantilal Gada. Bhansali’s much-awaited film will hit the theatres on February 25.
