London, Feb 12: Celebrated British singer Adele has dropped a mega hint of ‘baby’ plans with current partner Rich Paul.
Appearing on “The Graham Norton Show” on Friday, the Grammy-winning pop star opened up on her decision to postpone and promised her fans that her much hyped and awaited Las Vegas Residency show will happen later this year and not the next. “It is absolutely 100 per cent happening this year. It has to happen this year because I’ve got plans for next year.
“Imagine if I have to cancel because I am having a baby!” she said, dropping an unexpected hint of things in store. On the British comedy talk show, the singer also addressed the ongoing rumours around her potential engagement to sports agent Rich Paul, who she officially announced she was dating via an Instagram post in September 2021. When Norton sought clarification whether the ring, as seen on her finger at the February 8 Brit Awards, was an engagement diamond.
“If I was, would I ever tell anyone if I was or wasn’t?” she said. Opening up on her plans post-residency, the singer said that she’ll be trying to take a different approach than she has in the past following tours, ensuring she doesn’t completely disappear from public life. Her hint about baby next year came after she was seen with the supposed engagement ring during her performance at the BRIT Awards earlier this week. “It takes me a while to recharge, and I would like to have more children — I only just feel like I’ve caught up with my sleep from nine years ago when I had my son,” she said, referring to her child with ex-husband Simon Konecki.
