BJP Not Getting Votes : Deepak Dhavalikar
Panaji, Feb 14 : Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) President Deepak Dhavalikar on Monday said people were voting against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its misrule during the past five years. ”Today people have voted for a change. Goa needs a change. People, who are coming out, have decided to show the present government its place. I can confidently say that the next government would be a non-BJP government.
People are against the government due to corruption,” he told reporters. Dhavalikar, who is a candidate of MGP-Trinamool Congress alliance in Priol constituency, expressed confidence that 70 per cent of the votes in the constituency would be in his favour. ”People know what I have done during the last 10 years. I will live up to the expectations of the people,” he said. MGP has fielded 13 candidates in the assembly elections in Goa.
