WBCHSE Warns Students Against Writing Any Political Messages In Answer Sheets

Kolkata, April 7: West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) authorities which conducts the Higher Secondary Examination has warned students that if any candidate wrote political messages or pictures in the answer sheets in the 12th class examination, penal action will be taken against that candidate WBCHSE Board president Dr Chiranjib Bhattacharya said, ” If any student writes political messages or pictures in the answer sheets in the 12th examination, then his copies will not be checked.”
Apart from this, penal action will also be taken against such students, he said. The council has formed a high-powered committee, which will decide how much this penalty should be given This year the 10th board examination in West Bengal, many students wrote on their answer sheets – Khela Hobe. During the Bengal assembly elections last year, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had used the word ‘khela hobe’ to surround the opposition.
After that it became quite popular across the country. Now students have used it even in Bengal examinations. On this, the officials of the West Bengal Board have given a strict warning. The 10th examinations of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education were held last month. When the copies of the examination were checked, it was found that many students had written the ruling Trinamool Congress’s political slogan ‘Khela Hobe’ in the answer sheets.
At present, the examinations of Higher Secondary i.e. 12th are going on in Bengal. These examinations have started from April 2 and will continue till April 27. Many students who appeared in the 10th board examination in West Bengal wrote the famous slogan of politics in their copy. The administration has directed to take action against these candidates so that students do not do such acts during the 12th examination. The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education came to know that many students had written ‘khela hobe’. It was a famous political slogan during the assembly elections. Board exams were conducted here last month. This came to the fore during copy checking.
