Puducherry, Feb 5: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) here will relax the regulations enforced in out-patient service at the hospital from Monday in view of the decrease in the number of Covid-19 infections.
According to a Jipmer release on Saturday, patients can visit the out-patient department without prior appointment and the Tele-consultation service will be stopped. Jipmer authorities requested the cooperation of the public in the fight against Covid by adopting preventive measures such as wearing masks by all patients and attenders, maintaining social distancing and hygiene.
All those who have not taken Coronavirus vaccine were advised to take the two doses at the earliest which will provide protection against Omicron too.Â
