BREAKING: Single Sitting Matric Examination: BSE
Bhubaneswar, Apr 27: Keeping in view of the intense heat wave conditions in Odisha the Board Of Secondary Education(BSE), Odisha has announced changes in High School Certificate(HSC) Exam timings today.
In an official press meet the BSE Director, Ramasish Hazra has announced about the change in exam timings. The HSC examinations of 2022 is scheduled to start from April 29 to May 6. There has been no changes made in Matric Examination pattern though. All the exams will be done in first sittings only and the timing is set in between 8.00am to 10.00am.
The BSE, Odisha has directed all District Education Officers to keep all their respective school admins to be on high alert. All the schools, examination centres and Nodal Centres to be ready with ample amount of drinking water, ORS and firs-aids. Mobile Phones are strictly prohibited in school premises during Examination.
More than thirty five thousand teachers will be engaged through out the state, for the smooth conduct matric examinations. From day one to till end of the scheduled matric exam dates students will appear exam on sittings only.
As many as 3,540 Nodal centres have been made around Odisha for Matric exams. Within one hour past the exam all the centres are directed to send reports online to the Nodal Centres. All the nodal centres will be under 24×7 security alert. All Madhyama and Open-school matric exams will also be conducted in first sitting.
