SIS Profit After Tax (PAT) Inches Up To Rs 101 Crore In Q3
New Delhi, Feb 4: Security service provider SIS Ltd has reported marginal increase in profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 100.6 crore for the quarter ending December 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 99 crore in the same period of previous financial year. At 12.4 per cent, the company’s EBITDA margin for cash logistics business remained the highest among all the verticals. With economic activities gradually returning to pre-Covid level, the security service firm reported 10.3 per cent growth in consolidated revenue to Rs 2,601 crore in the October-December quarter of FY22 as compared to Rs 2,375 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY21.
“Q3FY22 was a record quarter for SIS with its highest ever revenue at Rs 2,601 crore and reported PAT at Rs 101 crore for the quarter,” SIS Group Managing Director Rituraj Kishore Sinha said. “Our 9M FY22 result continues to re-inforce the inelastic demand for essential services like security, facility management and cash logistics across Covid waves and economic activity rebound phases. SIS is geared up to take on the Covid third wave resiliently,” he further said.
Among various verticals, the home-grown security firm’s India security business recorded 5.2 per cent QoQ growth in revenues and reached Rs 995 crore which, SIS said, is the highest in its history and indicates a strong growth revival over the past few months. We also rolled out pay revisions, one-time discretionary incentives for office based employees during the quarter. Despite this EBITDA margin for the Q3FY22 is 4.3 per cent which is higher than 4.1 per cent in Q2FY22, the company said in a statement. The facility management segment of the firm logged a revenue growth of 9.4 per cent over Q2FY22 and 29.9 per cent over Q3FY21. The segment’s revenue during the third quarter stood at Rs 368 crore. “Our focus on manufacturing, healthcare and e-commerce/logistics segments has paid off and has helped us win important clients,” the company said. SIS said that EBITDA margin for its international business was 5.6 per cent in Q3, slightly lower than 5.9 per cent in Q2FY22.
