Mumbai, April 12: The BSE Sensex continued to slid on Tuesday too, as the BSE Sensex dropped 519 pts at 58,444.72 as selling was seen across the board. The Nifty fell 196.95 pts at 17,478. The sensex registered days high and low at 58,743.50 and 58,401.26 pts respectively. The Nifty registered days high and low at 17,594.60 and 17,472.00 pts respectively. The Mid Cap declined 1.88 pc and Small Cap by 1.76 pc. In 30 scrips, 4 advanced while 26 declined. The losers were Tata Steel by 3.91 pc to Rs 1304.90, L& T by 2.15 pc to Rs 1742.25, SBI by 1.97 pc to Rs 504.80 and Ultracemco by 1.93 pc to Rs 6725.35. The gainers were Maruti Suzuki by 0.55 pc to Rs 7612.50, TCS by 0.26 pc to Rs 3706, HDFC by 0.15 pc to Rs 2427.40 and Kotak Bank by 0.10 pc to Rs 1784.45. UNI
