Mumbai, Mar 2: The Rupee on Wednesday dropped 38 paise at 75.72 against the US Dollar in early trade on brisk demand for the foriegn currency by bankers and importers, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
The local unit was seen under pressure owing to strong Dollar against other world currencies amid negative opening in stock market, the dealer informed. The Rupee unit registered days high and low at 75.70 and 75.77 respectively, dealers added.
