BSF Fires At After Movement Of Suspected Drone Spotted On IB
Jammu, March 5: The alert troops of Border Security Force early morning on Saturday fired few rounds after movement of suspected drone was spotted close to an international border in Arnia belt of Ranbir Singh Pura sector here. Jammu Frontier based BSF spokesman, DIG SPS Sandhu said that a humming sound of suspected drone was heard early in morning at about 0410 am by alert troops of BSF in general area of Arnia. “The BSF troops fired towards the direction of sound,” he said.
The spokesman said that the area was cordoned with help of police while search is being conducted. Earlier on February 24, haul of cache of arms and ammunition was seized in Arnia belt air dropped through drone. On February 3, BSF had also neutralised three Pakistan intruders and recovered huge consignment of narcotics.
