UP Govt Earmarks Rs. 100 Cr For Maha Kumbh Preparations
Lucknow, May 26: The Uttar Pradesh government has made a budgetary provision of Rs 100 crore for the preparation of Maha Kumbh, to be held in Prayagraj in 2025.
The government is making every effort for this event to be made a grand affair as devotees from across the country and abroad are expected to attend the event. Keeping in mind their convenience, the schemes are being executed expeditiously.
The Yogi government does not want to leave any stone un-turned for the Maha Kumbh, to be held in 2025.
Paved Ghats will be constructed on the banks of Sangam, cleanliness efforts and widening of city roads will be completed at the Mela site. The government also plans to increase facilities like food courts, exhibitions and water spots in the Mela area.
Due to the successful organisation of Kumbh in 2019 by Yogi government, the state had achieved global recognition.
The respect and efficiency of the state had increased due to the event organised under the guidance of the Chief Minister, while cleanliness was specially appreciated.
The government is emphasizing on the preparations for the upcoming Maha Kumbh on the same lines.
