Maharashtra CM Performs Ashadhi Ekadashi Puja
Pune, July 10: Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde performed Ashadhi Ekadashi at temple town of Pandharpur in Solapur district on the wee hours of Sunday.
After offering prayers to Lord Vitthal and his consort Rakhumai on Ashadi Ekadashi festival, the CM said that the state government will provide facilities to all the Warkaris participating in ‘Ashadi Ekadashi Wari’.
Speaking at a function organised by the Vitthal Mandir Samiti after the maha puja, the CM said the ‘Ashadhi Wari’ could not be held for last two years due to Covid pandemic.
He reiterated that emphasis will be given to all sectors including agriculture, industry, education and health in the state and efforts will be made to bring the benefits of development to every section of the society.
