SIDBI To Strengthen Cyber Security

Mumbai, Feb 4: The Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) on Friday said it has signed a MoU with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) to strengthen its cyber security capabilities.

SIDBI, the principal financial institution engaged in the promotion, financing and development of micro, small and medium enterprises, said it signed the pact with the C-DAC, a premier R&D organization under the Ministry of Electronics and IT.

Under the agreement, SIDBI and C-DAC will collaborate to explore innovation and use of emerging technologies in the areas of cyber security, AI/ML, block chain and related training and capacity building aspects in the banking sector, it said.
