Carcass Of Elephant Recovered From Farmhouse In Odisha’s Dhenkanal dist

Dhenkanal:  The carcass of an elephant was found from the premises of a farmhouse in Borapada Khamar village under the Dhenkanal Sadar range of Odisha’s Dhenkanal district on Thursday night.

The elephant is assumed to have died after being electrocuted.

The age of the deceased elephant is said to be 15 years.

According to reports, the matter came to the fore after some locals spotted the carcass and informed the forest officials about the same.

On being informed, Forrest officials from Dhenkanal Sadar range reached the spot and started an investigation.

During the investigation, it was found that a herd of elephants live near the farmhouse.
