PC, Apni Party Question Hyderpora probe, Claims It To Be On ‘Expected Lines’
Srinagar, Dec 29: Peoples Conference President Sajad Lone on Wednesday said the Hyderpora probe was on “expected lines” and it is “one more addition to hundreds of ornamental probes.”
On Tuesday, the head of the Special Investigation Team of the Jammu and Kashmir Police gave a clean chit to security personnel in the November 15-16 Hyderpora gun battle.
It was stated that building owner Altaf Bhat, who was among the four killed was used as a “human shield” by a Pakistani militant and was killed in “cross-firing”.
Deputy Inspector General Sujit Kumar said Dr Mudassir Gul was shot dead by the Pakistani militant.
“Hyderpora probe on expected lines. One more addition to hundreds of ornamental probes Any victims of the past or of the future better ensure that they are not caught up in the wrong place at the wrong time or even right place at the wrong time. Onus to save oneself is on self,” Lone said.
Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari said the inquiry report is not acceptable to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“If the inquiry is still going on, how have they have given a clean chit? Such inquiries are not acceptable to the the people of Jammu and Kashmir. We demand that the killers should be booked,” Bukhari said in Srinagar.
