Sachin Tendulkar congratulates Hockey team for winning Bronze at Tokyo Olympics

Mumbai : India’s batting legend Sachin Tendulkar on Thursday congratulated members of hockey contingent on winning Bronze for the country in Tokyo Olympics.

In a tweet, he said,’Congratulations to each & every member of the hockey contingent on winning the #Bronze for India! A fantastic hard fought win…The penalty corner save by Sreejesh in the dying moments of the game was amazing. Entire Flag of India is immensely proud!.’

The Indian men’s hockey team played with all their heart and scripted history by clinching an Olympic medal after 41 years with a fantastic 5-4 win over Germany and claiming the bronze in a thrilling play-off match in the ongoing Tokyo Games 2020.
