BTS In Grammys First List Of Performers

Los Angeles, March 16: The Grammys once more have put BTS in their first list of performers after heavy trolling of last year, when their performance was posted last to continue the views count . The Las Vegas function on April 3 will also bring Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish along with the KPop stars BTS — three of the world’s biggest pop acts together on a night of musical extravagance, panache.

The Recording Academy late Tuesday announced on Twitter the first list of performers which will also include Lil Nas X with Jack Harlow, Brandi Carlile and Brothers Osborne. The show will be an in person event from the MGM Grand Garden Arena with Trevor Noah as host for a second consecutive time. The Grammys had shifted venue amid rising Covid-19 cases and the Omicron variant in January. Jon Batiste is leading nominee with 11 nods in a variety of genres including R&B, jazz, American roots music, classical and music video. Justin Bieber, Doja Cat and H.E.R. are tied for the second-most nominations with eight apiece.

The awards celebrate accomplishment in music cutting across various genres from pop, rap, rock and metal with nominees, including Ed Sheeran, Billie Ellish, Ariana Grande, Cardi B, Black Coffee, Deftones, AC/DC, Foo Figters, Mastodon, Dream Theater. The ceremony was originally meant to take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on January 31. However, later it was pushed forward and is now will to take place on first Sunday of April at 8 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on CBS and available to stream live and on-demand from Paramount+.
