New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday granted interim anticipatory bail for four weeks to porn movie case accused, Raj Kundra.
The businessman and husband of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty had moved the apex court in connection with a fresh FIR (First Information Report) filed by the Maharashtra Police.
A bench headed by Justice Vineet Saran, granted the bail, saying, “The protection is for four weeks, to the petitioner (Raj Kundra). The top court also issued notice to the Maharashtra Police and sought its detailed response on the appeal filed by Kundra. The Bombay High Court had earlier rejected Kundra’s bail plea, following which he moved the apex court for relief.
