Make constructive criticism against Modi govt : BJP slams Chidambaram, mentioning him as a tired-out horse
Hyderabad Dec 17: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Telangana Unit on Friday slammed Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram to make constructive criticism against the Narendra Modi government at the Centre and not to practice cheap “gimmicks”.
Reacting to Mr Chidambaram’s remarks against the Modi government, BJP State senior leader N V Subhash in a statement said that it was “disastrous” to drew a strong reaction from the party that the former was in ‘complete frustration’ over the winning spree of BJP in the elections.
In his remarks, Mr Chidambaram stated that Modi Government ‘Disastrous’ PM only fears elections.
The BJP leader called the senior Congress leader a tired-out horse as he was unfit for present-day politics as he was leveling baseless charges against the Prime Minister.
Mr Subhash said the country was not ‘sliding down’, it was in the process of a facelift of development. Unfortunately, the former Union Minister was infusing hatred against Mr Narendra Modi to its cadre instead of giving them winning direction.
The Congress party was still sailing in the murky waters even after a series of poll debacles, he said, adding that the Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was making more and more strides to take the nation towards growth.
Referring to Mr Chidambaram’s remark that Mr Modi has no fear of anything – his party, MPs, CMs, Ministers, the President, the Vice President, Judges, God or anyone else, but fears losing an election,
The BJP leader said losing elections became a normal practice for the Congress party as people were still in fear recollecting the horrifying scams that rocked the country during the UPA-1 and UPA-2 regimes.
