“No meetings have been held so far, but on issues like price rise, farm laws and other issues need sustained agitation. It is the need of the hour, need of the country, need of the people. Rahul ji is fighting, farmers are also fighting, but it should be more sustained,” former MP from Delhi Udit Raj, who is a part of the committee, told UNI.
Congress has been attacking the government over issues like price rise and farm laws. These issues were also raised by a united Opposition in the recent Monsoon Session, and several protests were staged by Opposition MPs inside, and outside Parliament as well.
Opposition MPs had also visited a mock parliament being held by Samyukt Kisan Morcha at Jantar Mantar on August 6.
