Diggy slams Jyotiraditya’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra
Bhopal : Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya M Scindia’s three-day Jan Ashirwad Yatra – scheduled to traverse approximately 200 km on Tuesday in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, Dewas and Shajapur districts – drew heavy flak from Rajya Sabha Member and erstwhile chief minister Digvijaya Singh who denounced the event as an exercise to gather funds.
“Democracy is in peril. The yatras must attract countrywide opposition,” Mr Singh conveyed via social media.
Prior to embarking on the campaign, Mr Scindia – a Rajya Sabha Member from this state – offered worship on the bank of the Kshipra river in Dewas District. Approximately two-dozen meetings and programmes are scheduled on this day. About 250 km in Indore and Khargone districts will be covered on Wednesday.
