CPO Suspended For Allegedly Leaking Details Of RSS Workers To SDPI Activists
Kottayam/Idukki, Dec 29: A Civil Police Officer (CPO) was suspended for allegedly leaking the details of RSS workers to the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) activists in Kerala.
The CPO Anas PK of Karimannoor Police station of Idukki district was suspeneded after an internal probe for allegedly leaking the details of RSS workers from the police database to SDPI activists.
Following the twin political murder in Alappuzha district recently, the Kerala Police swung into action and prepared a list of the SDPI and the RSS leaders as part of taking precautionary steps to stop the further spread of communal violence in the state.
Meanwhile, BJP alleged that the SDPI, political arm of Popular Front of India, was targeting the BJP and RSS workers on the basis of information getting from the police.
It is alleged that the police official had sent WhatsApp messages to the SDPI worker, involved in an attack on a bus conductor in Idukki district.
