BJP Gen Secy KT Raghavan quits party post after sleazy sting operation
Chennai : In a sudden development, BJP Tamil Nadu
Unit General Secretary KT Raghavan resigned from the party post
after a sleazy sting operation with a woman party member went viral
on the social media on Tuesday morning.
Mr Raghavan, in a series of tweets, said he held discussions with
Party State President K Annamalai after the video went viral and
resigned from the party post.
Stoutly rejecting the allegations, Mr Raghavan said he would face
the issue legally.
‘Justice will prevail’, he said.
The ‘sting operation’ purportedly showing him in a sleazy video
call with a woman party member, was recorded and uploaded on
YouTube by a party member and YouTuber Madhan Ravichandran,
today morning.
Madhan Ravichandran also claimed he had such sting videos of at
least 15 more State BJP leaders.
He also claimed that when he met Mr Annamalai with Mr. Raghavan’s
video, the BJP State Chief gave him the nod to release it in the interest
of providing justice for the woman.
Announcing his resignation from the post of General Secretary,
Mr.Raghavan said the people of Tamil Nadu knew who he was and
those around him know him well.
He said he had been loyally working for the party for the last 30 years
without seeking any favours and benefits from the party.

Mr Raghavan said it was an attempt to malign him and the party.
