Kendrapara : Yet another video has gone viral all over social media in which a woman reserve police constable has been spotted thrashing a web channel journalist in Kendrapara of Odisha.
Reportedly, the web channel journalist went to the BJP protest sight that was being held in front of Kendrapara Superintendent’s (SP) office. He spotted the woman reserve police constable, identified as Pinu Nayak, was not wearing a mask.
Thereafter, he clicked a picture of the same and posted it on social media.
Woman constable Pinu Nayak got infuriated by the incident and thrashed the journalist on the spot by pulling his shirt collar. She has also allegedly abused him verbally.
Meanwhile, other senior police officers intervened and tried to control the situation. However, she did not listen to them.
The incident has been strongly criticized and the suspension of the woman constable has been demanded.
