549 mm Of Rainfall In Bodeli In Gujarat

Ahmedabad, July 11: Heavy rain havoc continued at many places in Gujarat on Monday as well.

Rainfall occurred in 218 talukas of total 33 districts in the state during the last 24 hours. Out of which Bodeli of Udepur, the smallest district, received 549 mm of rain.

According to the State Emergency Operation Center (SEOC), during the last 24 hours till 6 am, Bodeli 549 mm in Chhota Udepur district, 432 mm in Quant, 426 mm in Jumbughoda, Panchmahal, 403 mm in Jetpur Pawi of Chhota Udepur, And 106 mm of rain in Kheda’s Vaso, life became disturbed.

According to official data, apart from these talukas, 188 talukas have received 99 mm to one mm of moderate rainfall in the last 24 hours. The water level of some rivers rose, flooding bridges, low-lying areas and roads.

All municipal schools, colleges remained closed today due to heavy rains in Ahmedabad. People trapped in water in many districts have been shifted to safer places.
