This year the annual High School Certificate examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Odisha was not held due to the Covid pandemic.
The marks were awarded to students based on an alternative evaluation system suggested by an expert team constituted by the government.
The Government had clarified that any student not satisfied with the result could appear for the offline examination.
The woman said her son had passed the annual HSC examination
but he was not satisfied with his marks and wanted to appear in the offline examination.
But due to the negligence of the school authorities her son could not fill-up the form and demanded action against the teachers.
Both the mother and the son had also demonstrated in front of the school yesterday.
But the school authorities said the student could not fill-up the form due to his negligence and also the negligence of the parents.
The School Headmaster said the father of the student inquired in detail about the procedure to fill up the form and said he would come to fill up the form but did not turn up.
