Bhubaneswar : Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced a hike in the Dearness Allowances of its employees and the pensioners by 11 per cent.
Official sources said the hike would be made effective retrospectively from July 21 last.and the beneficiaries would get the hike with their October salary.
Four lakh employees of the state government and three and half lakh pension holders would be benefitted by the hike.
With this hike the DA went up to 28 per cent from the existing 17 per cent.
The employees will get the last three months DA arrear in cash.
