Odisha DGP asks security personnel to cleanse the tri junction of Maoists in Kalahandi

Bhubaneswar, Aug 07 (UNI) Odisha DGP Abhay today asked the security personnel deployed in Kalahandi to cleanse the tri-junction of the Maoists.
The DGP who along with Director Intelligence Lalit Dash and DIG SIW Anirudha Singh visited Bolangir and Kalahandi to review Left Wing Extremists situation asked the security personnel at Kalahandi to hold frequent meetings with the villagers to give them a sense of security .
The DGP. also asked the DIG CRPF, DIG SWR and SP Kalahandi to reach out and inform
the villagers about the Surrender and Rehabilitation policy of Odisha government.
At Bolangir, the DGP met the police personnel who have done good work in crime detection, NDPS detection, LWE matters and complimented them.
SP Bolangir made presentations on LWE, Crime matters, CCTNS and other administrative
issues. The DGP sought suggestions from the SP and DIG (NR) on what further improvements
are to be made.
The DGP along with the senior officers also visited the CRPF camps of Khaprakhol and Harishankar. He interacted with the jawans and CRPF officials SOG officers and men
stationed at Harishankar and Khaprakhol .
In the afternoon Mr.Abhaya held a meeting with the DIG CRPF, DIG SWR and SP Kalahandi
at Bhawanipatna and asked them to cleanse the tri-junction of the Maoists.
