Bhubaneswar, Jul 16 : With preparations underway, the state election commission has begun well before the election. The state Election Commission has started work in the state for the panchayat elections scheduled for February 2022 next year.
The Election Commission has written to all district magistrates today. The commission directed them to keep the ballot boxes ready for conducting the elections ahead. The state government had informed the Election Commissioner on the 29th that it was geared up for panchayat elections.
