Bhadrak: Valorous freedom fighter of Odisha, Baikuntha Mohapatra passed away at Bhandaripokhari of Bhadrak district on Monday.
Condoling the death of the veteran freedom fighter Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said, “I am saddened to learn about the death of Baikuntha Mohapatra, a prominent freedom fighter from Bhandaripokhari in Bhadrak district. His contribution to the country’s Independence and integrity will always be remembered. I extend my condolences to the bereaved families,”
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has also expressed his condolences to the bereaved family following the demise. He tweeted: “I am saddened to hear about the death of Baikuntha Mohapatra, a prominent freedom fighter from Bhandaripokhari area of Bhadrak district. His sacrifices and struggles for the local area will forever be remembered.”
