Srinagar, Jul 14 : A woman was on Wednesday killed after she was hit by a security force vehicle in north Kashmir district of Bandipora.
Official sources said that a woman, identified as Guljan Begum, was hit and critically injured by a security force vehicle when she was crossing a road at Nadihal in Bandipora on Wednesday afternoon. The woman was immediately taken to a hospital, where she was declared brought death, they said.
After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her relatives for last rites.
Police has registered a case and initiated investigation into the incident, the sources added.
