Chandigarh : In a major political development, Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh resigned from his post on Saturday evening.
Capt Amarinder Singh reached Punjab Raj Bhavan at around 1630 hours and submitted his resignation to Governor Banwarilal Purohit, just minutes before the crucial meeting of Punjab Congress Legislature Party (CLP) scheduled to be held at PPCC office here at 1700 hours today.
