PM Modi Launches Milk Certificate
Varanasi, Dec 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday launched a unified certificate system and logo to identify the purity of milk.
Modi launched a portal and logo dedicated to the Conformity Assessment Scheme of milk products, developed by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) with the help of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB).
“Till now is was difficult for people to identify milk which safe to buy,” he said. “The BIS has issued a unified certificate system and logo. This will make checking purity of milk easy.”
The Prime Minister said that global credibility of Indian milk products will now increase.
Referring to the inauguration of Kashi Vishwanath Dham Corridor, he said when it comes to development, Kashi had become a model.
“The grand Kashi is now turning into a smart Kashi, besides being a divine Kashi,” he said.
Modi also distributed rural residential rights record ‘Gharauni’ under the Swamitva scheme of the Union Ministry of Panchayati Raj.
“For 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh, more than 23 lakh Gharauni (land ownership document) have been prepared. this document was given to around 21 lakh families today,” he said.
