‘Pegasus Gate’: Nath rains fire on Centre
Bhopal : A day after Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s thrust at the Congress over the Pegasus issue, the party’s state President Kamal Nath parried on Wednesday by stressing that the Narendra Modi dispensation ought to clarify whether it purchased a license for the espionage software from the Israeli firm that created it.
“The Centre should also furnish a straight response as to whether it bought the license for maintaining national security or some other purpose. The spyware was actually employed to snoop on prominent personalities,” the erstwhile central minister alleged at the Congress office here during an interaction with members of the Fourth Estate.
