Jammu : A gunfight triggered on Thursday between a group of terrorists and security forces in Thannamandi area of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.
“After getting information, the joint teams of police, Army, special operation group and para-military forces laid a cordon,” police sources said.
“Some gun shots were fired in the morning, which was retaliated and the encounter started,” they added.
More details are awaited.
On August 6, two terrorists were killed in the same area by the security forces.
