Jaishankar meets new Armenian FM, holds talks on Afghanistan with Uzbek counterpart
Dushanbe/New Delhi : External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met the new Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and also met the Uzbekistan Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov during which the talks focused on Afghanistan, on the sidelines of the SCO meet in the Tajikistan capital.

“Positively reviewed our cooperation and will work to expand it further,” he tweeted.
Former Armenian Parliament Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan was appointed foreign minister on August 20.
During his talks with the Uzbekistan Foreign Minister, the two sides focused on the Afghanistan situation and stressed that as countries combating terrorism and fundamentalism, our close cooperation is in mutual interest.
