PM Modi greets Israeli PM, Jewish people on Israeli New Year
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday extended warm wishes to Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and the people of Israel and Jewish people around the world on the occasion of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.
“Warmest wishes to Prime Minister @naftalibennett, the friendly people of Israel, and the Jewish people around the world celebrating Rosh Hashanah today,” the Prime Minister tweeted.
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar also extended wishes to his Israeli counterpart Yair Lapid on the occasion of the Israeli New Year.
“On the auspicious occasion of Rosh Hashanah, wishing you, H.E.@yairlapid, the Jewish people of Israel, and around the world Shanah Tovah u’metuka. May the New Year bring joy, prosperity, and health to your loved ones,” he tweeted.
