Puducherry : Tamil film actor Vijay Sethupathi called on Chief Minister N Rangaswamy at his residence here on Thursday night.
According to sources, the actor submitted a memorandum to Mr Rangaswamy seeking to reduce the outdoor film shooting charges in Puducherry.
Sethupathy pointed out that it was previously only Rs.5000 a day.
Now, it was revised to Rs.28,000 a day. Small budget film makers could not afford this, he added.
The Chief Minister agreed to consider his request, the sources added.
