Kamal Haasan discharged from hospital after COVID treatment
Chennai, Dec 4 : Actor-politician and Makkal Needhi Maiam
(MNM) Founder Kamal Haasan was on Saturday discharged from the
hospital after recovering from COVID-19 and commenced his routine
activities.
A bulletin issued by Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre, where he was
admitted on November 22, said Kamal has recovered completely from
COVID infection.
He is being discharged today. He is fit to resume his routine activities,
it said.
Later, in a statement posted on his twitter handle, Kamal expressed
his gratitude to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and other
political party leaders, actor Rajinikanth and other members of the
film fraternity for wishing him a speedy recovery.
Stating that he has returned to his routine work, he thanked the hospital
staff for taking good care of him.
Kamal also thanked the people of Tamil Nadu, his fans and MNM cadres
who had prayed for his recovery.
