Death on the Nile: Ali Fazal’s next Hollywood flick trailer out
Mumbai, Dec 22: Actor Ali Fazal will next be seen alongside Gal Gadot in Kenneth Branagh’s second outing as the Belgian detective in the Agatha Christie adaptation of “Death on the Nile”.
The trailer for the February 11 release was dropped by the creators 20th Century Fox that the actor shared on his Instagram handle on Wednesday.
“Murder was just the beginning. See ‘Death on the Nile’ in theatres this February,” the actor captioned the 2.04 min reel.
Following the commercially successful “Murder on the Orient Express” released in 2017 and introduction of Hercule Poirot to a new generation of fans, the February release is much awaited.
In Death on the Nile, Poirot finds himself in the middle of another murder investigation at an exotic location — a cruise across the river’s length in Egypt.
Once again, the actor-filmmaker has assembled a supremely talented cast, including our Ali, who plays one of the suspects.
The cast also includes Armie Hammer, Emma Mackey, Annette Bening, Rose Leslie, Letitia Wright, and Russell Brand.
Ali, who has appeared in Hollywood projects like “Furious 7” and “Victoria & Abdul” in the past, makes a couple of brief appearances in the trailer.
However, the new poster puts Gadot front and centre, even ahead of Branagh. More surprisingly, the disgraced Hammer still part of the promotions.
The film will release on February 11 in the US.
