Bhubaneswar: One person died in a blast while preparing crackers at Karan Sahi under Khallikote police limits in Ganjam district on Saturday.
The deceased identified as Jitendra Pradhan (30) was making crackers on the roof of his house. The crackers were to be used during a Ramayan play.
After the blast, he was rushed to nearby hospital where he was declared dead. A probe has been initiated into the matter.
