Mumbai, Dec 9: The BSE Sensex on Thursday was seen weak as it declined 66 pts to 58,583.03 in opening session on profit booking by local operators.
The Nifty too ease by 30.45 pts at 17,439.30.
Though, the sensex opened higher by 182 pts at 58,831.41, it immediately went in red.
At the moment it was trading at 58,583.03.
The sensex registered days high and low at 58,889.96 and 58,498.95 pts respectively.
The Nifty registered days high and low at 17,543.25 and 17,423.20.
The Mid Cap rose by 0.13 pc and Small Cap pc 0.50 pc.
In 30 scrips, 13 advanced while 17 declined.
The losers were HDFC Bank by 1.19 pc to Rs 1534.95, TCS by 1.12 pc to Rs 3586, NTPC by 1.06 pc to Rs 125.95 and Axis Bank by 0.92 pc to Rs 690.55.
The gainers were Reliance Industries by 1.38 pc to Rs 2450.80, Sun Pharma by 0.77 pc to Rs 763.40, Asian Paints by 0.73 pc to Rs 3131.75 and Dr Reddy’s Lab by 0.64 pc to Rs 4600.40.
