Mumbai : The Rupee on Thursday continued to slid on Thursday too, as it fell by eight paise at 74.22 against the greenback on brisk demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.
A local unit that dropped 13 paise at 73.17 in opening trade, ended negative only at 74.14, sliding by ten paise
as compared to its previous close.
The Rupee that was dropped by 20 paise at 74.34 in early trade, slightly improved from opening level but ended negative only at 74.22, down eight paise as compared to its last close.

The local unit registered days high and low at 74.38 and 74.20 respectively.
