Bhubaneswar: Steel City Rourkela, that is also going to host multiple matches during the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup 2023, will celebrate the event with a 9-day festival called “Rourkela Fest.”
The festival will begin on January 14 and end on January 22, and will feature 25 popular artists from Bollywood, Odisha, and other regions of India. The festival will be held at Melana Ground in Sector-13 and will take place every day from 4 pm to 11 pm.
Bollywood stars, including Disha Patani and Sukhwinder Singh, will perform at the festival, with the main attraction being “Starry Night” which starts at 7 pm every day.
Rourkela will host 20 matches of the hockey world cup at the new Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium, and a large number of hockey enthusiasts are expected to visit the city to witness the event.
