Bhubaneswar: Two persons died after an ambulance collided with a tree near Mahichala chhak on National Highway 26 under Junagarh police limits in Kalahandi district late Sunday night.
The deceased persons include a patient identified as Sumitra Durga of Kapurmal village under Jaipatna police limits of the district and the helper of the ambulance died in the accident.
Reportedly, the ambulance was taking Sumitra from Kapurmal to Bhawanipatna when the accident occurred. Three of Sumitra’s family members were also injured in the accident.
