CBI Raids At Anil Deshmukh’s CA Vishal Khandelwal’s Residence In Nagpur
Nagpur, Feb 12: The CBI raided residential premises of Vishal Khandelwal, one of the chartered accountants of former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, on Saturday.
The raids are considered to be in connection with the money laundering case against Deshmukh. The residence of Khandelwal at Leverage Green Row House on Koradi Road was raided by the central agency this morning.
The raid was carried out for about two hours. The CBI officials reached Khanelwal’s residence in the morning and left after about two hours. The officials did not inform about findings at his residence. On receiving information, the local police reached the spot, however, they were deployed only at the gate for not letting any one inside.
It is learnt that similar raids are also being carried out at several other places in Nagpur in connection with the case. These locations are either residences or office premises of the chartered accountants of Deshmukh.
